1929-42 Rev. Alfredo Cavazos is Pastor. The first choir was organized.
1942-44 Pastor Pedro Carranza. Some members leave to form “Templo” Baptist Church.

1950 – 1975
1951-60 Pastor Armando Alvarado. The fifth new building is built at 1232 S. Alamo
1961-62 Pastor Enrique Mota
1962-67 Pastor Jose E. Enriquez
1967-81 Pastor Rafael A. Munuz. Several community ministries are started, also the mission in Losoya, TX.

 

1976 to present
1976 The construction of a new sanctuary is complete and inaugurated.
1982-83 Pastor Rudy Trevino. The worship services are broadcast live by radio. The church experiments with an English department.
1984 Pastor Gregorio Gomez. Some members are commissioned to do missionary work and several ministers are ordained.
1985 Last payment of the new construction. The first Minister of Education is called.
1988 Pastor Javier Elizondo. English worship services and English Sunday School are started. The church celebrates 100 years of ministry to San Antonio.
1989-90 Pastor Leobardo Estrada. The Music Minister becomes part of the church’s personnel.
1990 to present Pastor Alfonso Flores. The church experiments and then formalizes the T.V. broadcast of worship services.
1996-97 Dr. Joshua Grijalva starts missionary work in the Northeast of the city and is continued by Rev. Jesus A. Aguilar.
1999-2000 The mission “Iglesia Bautista Jefferson” is organized at Manor Baptist Church.
2000 The building of Manor Baptist Church is bought and is inaugurated under the name of First Mexican Baptist Church (April 30, 2000).
